I'm still here!

This is me with my Lego shelf, which is up high so Hazel can't get to my creations. She likes to chew my Lego, and these are my special things which I don't want to be in pieces.

This is my SpongeBob pineapple house, which is so cool. I didn't want to get it at first, but my Granny really wanted to buy it for me, and I'm so glad she did. It even has Gary the snail!

I am still making lots of creations, I made a Chitty Chitty Lego car, and my Mum says she will take more photos and do some more on this website. She has been busy chasing Hazel and doing her work, but we still want to put pictures of my Lego here for everybody to see.

I like that people write to me about my Lego, I wish I could play Lego with them, but Mum says that some of them are in other countries far away. That is so cool!

Christmas Lego

When we got home from Kinder today there were two parcels in the letterbox all for me! I love parcels, and even more I love the Lego ones from the Lego Club.

I did open it so fast, and there was a Lego Snowman inside to build all for myself. It wasn't hard, I just looked at those instructions and here he is!

My Dad said that he looked grumpy, but I think that if you wear a bowtie you can't be grumpy, that's the rules.

I have so much more to tell about my Lego, but now it's time for bed, and it's my last day ever at Kinder tomorrow, next year I'm going to school!

Lego art

My Daddy had some sculptures at the Art Fair, so yesterday we went to see them. There were so many bits and pieces there, but these were my favourite. Can you tell that they are made all from Lego?

This one was a picture of a rocket launch, but Mum couldn't stand far away enough to get the top of the picture, there were so many people there!

I love all those little bricks, I have a lot of Lego but I don't think I have this much.

Mold making

My Dad makes sculptures, and he is doing one of a boy, so he has been sculpting my hands. He calls it mold making, but it's not mouldy.
Here I am in his studio, with a box on my hand, to hold all the goo in.

Daddy is slopping all that goo in on my hand, it's a bit cold and it smells minty. (It's dental alginate - Leo's Mum)

When the goo dries it does change colour, and stops slopping everywhere.

Getting my hand out was tricky, there was some air in there and when we pulled it out it made a funny fart sound!

Then Daddy pours plaster into the mold and gets a sculpture. These are all the hands that Dad has made from my hands. When I was little he did my foot, and it's so tiny! We should do my sister's feet too.

My Lego

All my Lego is at Dad's studio now.
We did move it there because he has lots of space upstairs, and I can spread it all out on the floor. My Mum does not like to pick Lego up all day long, so now the lounge room has Hazel's toys and no Lego.

Mum did get me all these boxes for putting Lego in, but she is the only person who really likes to put the Lego away. I really like to spread it all out, and then I can see what bits I need.

Here are all the bits. I sit in the middle and just look around for what I need.

This was a crystal carrier which I did make last week. It's on wheels, and it does open up and inside there is a crystal.

I like going to my Dads' studio because it's not far away and I can ride my scooter there.

More Lego

I made this one already, but I took it apart. So on the weekend at my Dad's studio I did make it again.

I really like to shoot it out fast and watch the claw on the end grab things.

My Uncle Marco did help me make this a while ago, and I kept it all together.

It's a special spaceship.

Busy busy

I have a new baby sister, Hazel, and so my Mum has been holding her and sometimes she can't help with my website. But here are some things that I have been making at home and at Kinder too.

This is a special Lego gun that can move, it has loads of joints and can make lots of different shapes.

I really love this one, it's a walking rubbish crusher, that has a hook for picking up junk, and a spinner for cutting big pieces. We have been watching Dirty Jobs and that man does work with loads of machines and rubbish collectors.

I made this guitar at Kinder with my friend Oscar, he made one too. It's very special and I didn't want my Mum to take a picture, but she said that it's a really good invention. My Dad plays the guitar, but this one is just for me.

Fishy and Birdy

I was working in the studio with my Mum, making these cushions. It did take a long time to get to the stuffing part, but I was helping, and I even got to push the pedal on the machine. I am a good sewer.

Their names are Birdy and Fishy and they are boys. They met my other pets which sleep on my top bunk with me. We have lots of stuffing and felt left over and maybe we could make some for Chassie's birthday.

When they were finished I did paint their picture, but my Mum did do the kissy mouth on the fish for me. I can paint with both hands but it is a bit tricky.

Those vending machines

My Mum and me did make things for the vending machine project, and this is what I did.
There was that leather string Mum has, and I did thread those wooden beads and chopped up bits of straws to make these necklaces.

There are all those capsules for the vending machine, we did pick them up at that Gallery down the stairs (Craft Victoria).

My Mum did help me tie the knots in the leather string, and then we put them all in capsules, ready to hatch like a baby alligator in an egg.

I think I would like to buy a capsule from the vending machine, to see if I get a good treat inside. They cost $2, which I already have in my piggy bank.

Stickers, pictures and trucks

I love that one the most, that's because it's a green robot sticker on a rubbish bin. We see these all over town when we are in the car, there is a pink robot sticker too but that one is for girls.

It's about pirates, I think it is an octopus pirate - imagine that! I can't believe that he has a treasure box and a hook, and even a pipe, that is a bit stinky.

There was a hole in the gorilla and you could see what was in it's tummy, and guess what - a person was stuck in the gorilla's tummy! (These images are all from Risographica at Lamington Drive - Leo's Mum)

Here's a fire truck, I really love the switches but my Mum really loves all those colours. I didn't even know that the fire men get to play with colourful stuff.

House

I made this awesome house when my Granny was here last week. Some of the bits are from when my Mum was playing with Lego when she did grow up at Granny's. Mum did say that a flat roof makes it hot, but they can just open the door.

There are some doors and lights, I put on that antennae for the TV and a chimney too. I did also put on a cappellor.

I really want to make that Howl's Moving Castle house out of Lego, that's why I put the cappellor on.

Spaceship

This is a new spaceship. It doesn't have a cappellor.

It does have these boosters, and they are made of fire so they shoot the spaceship off to the moon. You should ever, never touch the boosters though, or they would burn you like toast! Oh my gosh that would hurt so much!

My Mum does like the underneath, that's because it's all colourful and she does like that.

Shark

L: I just made it! It was so easy, and I didn't even know that bits for spaceships could make sea creatures.

Spaceship

This is my new spaceship.

It has a cappellor (he insists on this pronunciation - Leo's Mum) and it only moves if you spin the cappellor. Nobody flies in it, but it can go to the moon.

I'm busy watching Spirited Away and you are annoying me with questions Mum.

The Castle!

Here's that castle that my Granny did help me make.

She is back in her house now, but when she was here we did make this together, with paint, glue and sticky tape which my Granny does call Sellotape, toilet rolls and cereal boxes, bits of straw and foil too. We gave her a birthday present and she even used some of that fancy paper to make those flags. We are recycling.

I really like the drawbridge, with more of that string I already used for my door hanging. I think that Granny was using that string to knit a jumper for my baby sister who is still in my Mum's tummy.

I think that my pirates from Xmas could hide their treasure in this castle, and maybe sleep over if they are not wanting to sleep on their boats.

Oh my gosh!

I like this picture that's because my Mum is helping me open that skeleton pirate cave on Xmas morning. I can hardly even believe that I got so many great treats, it's so awesome!

I did get this cool worm farm from Aunty Jenny, and Dad did help me put stripes of sand, dirt and oats on the worms that we found in the garden. My Dad found the most enormous grub too , but we did put it back in the dirt. We are hiding them in the dark and sometimes we peek at them to see if they are messing up the stripes.

These are some of my things that I use for making things. Aunty Kate did get me so many of those sticks that you get in your icecream, but different shapes too. And I got some new paints and a glue pot, and loads of sticky tape, I think that sticky tape is the best but my Mum does like glue but hers is too stinky for kids.

My Granny and Dad did help me make lots of things on the back table, and we did make this that I hang on my door. It has glue but has sticky tape too, and stickers, and string, and I did write my name on it with red, that says Leo.

This is that awesome castle in a book from the op-shop for making things with recycle bits. My Granny is helping me to make the castle and we are using those toilet rolls and she is doing a great job. I can hardly wait for the drawbridge to work but we need more string for that.

Toys at Granny's

I did go to visit my Granny, she lives in Adelaide and you have to go on a plane to see her. I have so many toys at her house, my Mum and I do go and visit those op shops to get great toys. They are too big to take home to my house, so they live at Granny's.

We have been collecting castles and I did find that really huge one on my last time. They do open up and they have stairs and secret keys hiding in the towers, and the big one does have a barn at the back which I think is where a donkey lives.

We did also find where the batteries go, and when my Granny did put them in there were lights on in the towers, and then when you walk up the stairs it does make a ta-da trumpet noise. My Mum did tell me that the noise was annoying her.

I am so incited (that's how he says it! - Leo's Mum) that's because there are three sleeps till Santa comes, and when I have my last chocolate from that calendar it does mean that Santa is coming. I can hardly even wait! My cousins Ryan and Toby are here too, and we are shooting lots of robots and making the couch into a spaceship, it's so cool!

I did tell them that I have a website, but they don't. Alessandro at kinder did say he had a website too but I think he was tricking.

We did also watch that Shrek Christmas DVD and now my Mum and I are saying 'Smelly Christmas and a Grose night'! I think that's so funny, Smelly Christmas!

Hot Wheels ramp

I made this ramp all by myself, with my blocks. I decided to make it that's because it was a brilliant idea, and I really surprised my Mum, that's because she didn't know that I was making it in the lounge room.

On the ramp the cars zoom up, and then go up to the carpark and then they come down again and go home.

Pip did give me a big car ramp that had spiders in it, my Mum did put it in the wading pool and scrubbed it with that toothbrush, and now it's all cleaned and dry for playing with.

Lego Letter

My mum asked those Lego people to join me in their club, so I got a parcel on the table after kinder.
I really love the Space Police Lego, that Squidman is my favourite, he is the green one with that grey head and funny eyes. He makes me laugh!
My parcel has magazines and Bionicle comics and a wristband for the club. My mum likes the Lego advent calendar but I only like the Space Police and the Power Miners.

Walking machine

It works on the moon, it walks a bit like those Star Wars walkers in the snow. Actually my Dad helped me make this, I was watching kids TV and I stayed home from kinder because I have a cough.
I have lots of tissues, and Mum does give me that strawberry medicine which I like better than that cherry medicine. And she did let me have those brick lollies (butter menthol) and sometimes rubs that sniffy cream (vicks) on my body.

Flying Robot #2

This just goes in outer space, and the peunders (guns) fly out and the wheels roll, and it can blast off and it can glow in the dark.
My Mum thinks it looks like a tightrope motorcycle trick, but they don't have peunders in the circus.
There was a man on the motorcycle but he came off and it turned into a robot.
You have to be careful because I nearly poked my Dad's eye with this robot, it's very long and can poke you.

My Wall E Lego robot

That's actually a rubbish collector robot called Wall E, he is in a movie that's my favourite.
My Dad tried to made one, and my Granny actually helped me to build this one, she did it on her self. I think she did a good job, and she even put that door what Wall E has to put the rubbish in.
We left those tracks at my Dad's studio, so this Wall E doesn't move yet.

Flying Robot

That's actually a flying robot. It flies like a helicopter and those legs can go straight or they can be bendy.

Catalogue

My Granny has come to visit, she comes on an aeroplane. She gave it (this catalogue) for me from Adelaide, from a toyshop.
She also gave me a digger that turns into a motorbike. I already made the digger yesterday, and today I pulled it apart and Granny helped me to make that motorbike. I like the motorbike best, but I like both of them.

I love catalogues, I have lots, they are kept in my purple folder.
But this catalogue is so good,because it's really cool, they have rockets in there.

My favourite is the SpongeBob Lego, I have never seen that before! I really love Sandy's rocketship, and SpongeBob's pineapple house.

Maybe I would like to spend my piggy bank on this Lego, but it's far far away.

Rocketship

It's a flying rocketship from outer space, aliens fly in it, a King Alien. He cages the owners from the boys, Jimmy's one is in the aliens with put green in those and there's a big giant bird too.

Now the owners are alive, now the kids steal the aliens' rocketships. All of them. Now they have guns on their rocketship, big guns.

The green bit on the back is the engine, it's very small, but it flies very far.
The white pointy bits are the guns.

I made this one last week. Did you know that it's for George that monkey and the man with the yellow hat, they just fly with it.
They land on the ground with grass on it and some worms living underground.

Robot Dog

This is my new Robot Dog. It's a boy dog called Garda, like the one in Jimmy Neutron. I just made it with these long bits, and then I put the head bit on.

It runs with its legs, it has a big head and big feet.
My Mum thinks it looks a bit like a moose, but she is wrong and I am right.

I took that sweeper robot apart and just used the bits to make this robot dog.
